That's due to the record-breaking number of crystals on each variation of the American's Parisian leotards, with every single one featuring more than 10,000 crystals. In Rio, the US women had leotards with around 5,000 crystals on them.
In Tokyo, that was leveled up to 6,400 crystals each. For Paris, a new bar has been set. Team USA's leotards for the Olympics has eight different variations, with a red, white, and blue uniform being shown as the main threads.
