Rome has always been synonymous with style, luxury and craftsmanship, all reasons it’s one of the most exciting fashion capitals in the world. It is also a city with an alluring lifestyle, where urban life mixes with the sun-drenched coast, and ancient history collides with the future. It’s this unique dolce vita that has inspired Fendi’s summer 2024 capsule collection, designed by Kim Jones, artistic director of couture and womenswear.

“It’s a story that continues today, about pleasure, leisure, work and drama – in other words, life. I wanted the collection to reflect this and expand on the idea of Roman freedom; that elegance in ease and not caring what anybody else thinks,” he says. As with past seasons, a sense of duality permeates the men’s and women’s collections, which feature playful yet pragmatic looks that can transition from the city street to the beach .
