The seven-time world champion initially called it a day in 2012 before making a comeback in 2020.
But after four years back at the top level of the sport, Hendry declined the offer of a tour card for the next two seasons. He revealed: "I know the game inside out, I still know all the shots, but unfortunately the body is not performing like my brain wants it to."
