WALLOON LAKE, MI - Expanding from 6,500 to 10,700 square feet, the Walloon Lake General Store opened their modernized space at The Renwick in mid-May. The new three-story development features a general store on the main level and 16 luxurious condos on levels two and three. A general store has operated at the site in some form or fashion dating back to the turn of the 20th century in the downtown Walloon Lake community.

The modernized store features a full restaurant kitchen that will be pumping out homemade pizzas and other prepared meals. The 100-foot counter features a deli with a variety of meats, cheeses and seafood. The store is very selective with the quality meat and seafood options it will offer to patrons.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our store offerings to better serve the community. Our customers will be excited to see the vast amount of local, Michigan-made iconic products we now carry,” said General Manager and Chef Michael Sader. “Furthermore, we have committed to offer quality products at varying price points to meet all of our customers’ needs and budget,” he said.
