LAGOS – No fewer than 1,000 small business owners were impacted at a summit organised by the Stability and Sustenance. The summit with the theme: ‘Small Business Huge Profit,’ was recently held in Warri, Delta State with small business owners cut across numerous professions in attendance. The summit focused on customer service skills needed for business growth by various professionals.
A statement by the media consultant to the company said that the customer service relationship masterclass was delivered by Zitu Tarelayefa, a fashion entrepreneur with extensive experience in the creative industry in the South-South, Nigeria. Zitu in her presentation, advised the mentees to build good customer service relationship with both existing and potential customers in order to grow their respective businesses. “Many good businesses collapse in Nigeria irrespective of good product or service because of very poor customer service.
Go to our restaurants or general marketplace and experience how bad people attend to customers. This terrible customer service prevents repetitive buying including positive word of mouth referrals. “If you relate very well with your existing and potential customers by going the extra-mile to provide satisfaction, genuinely answer their numerous questions, employ the customer-is-king attitude always while been courteous at all times, your customers will always come back for more and in fact, they will refer more people to patronize you,” she said.
