Mangaluru : Sri Ram Sene (SRS) Karnataka has launched a helpline to address ‘ love jihad ’ cases. SRS state general secretary Anand Shetty Adyar told reporters on Wednesday that the helpline (9090443444) was launched at six locations — Bengaluru, Kalaburagi, Bagalkot, Davanagere, and Hubballi-Dharwad (with Hq in Hubballi). Shetty claimed that there has been a rise in such cases across the country, including Karnataka. The helpline team comprises advisers, counsellors, former police personnel, and advocates to verify the authenticity of each case, counsel women in distress, and provide necessary assistance while ensuring callers’ anonymity.
