Sonakshi Sinha paired the crescent moons on her ‘Chand Buta’ handwoven sari with a solid red blouse. Her look was complete with a custom-made choker set from Karan Johar’s Tyaani Fine Jewellery and a tall stack of red bangles. Founded by Sanjay Garg, Raw Mango’s ethos is to keep Indian textile traditions alive.



Their designs are created in the lanes of , Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Varanasi and each piece has a rich history. Sonakshi Sinha’s red sari is drawn from their textile archives dating back to the 18th century. A quick change later the bride was seen in a red kurta set by Anita Dongre.

Designed with zardozi and cord , the silk ensemble is replete with tropical motifs. The House of Anita Dongre was founded in 1995 but while fashion flirts with a new aesthetic every few weeks, her pieces still routinely find their way into the wardrobes of and royalty alike. The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore one of her creations during her maiden visit to India in 2016 (the dress was in such high demand it crashed her website).
