Prayagraj: Admission process for international students commenced for the new academic session of Allahabad University , inviting applications through e-mail till Jul 31. Students from South Asian Association for Regional Corporation (SAARC) countries will get 50% discount in registration and tuition fee, though this discount is applicable to professional courses. AU has divided admission of international students into four categories including foreign citizens, persons of Indian origin and overseas citizens of India, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holders and non-resident Indians.
Students seeking admission will have to register on the Study in India portal of Govt of India. They will get a unique identity, to be shown at the time of admission. International students will be able to apply through four mediums, including self-financed international students, foreign students under agreements with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and international institutions.
Admissions will be in BA, BSc, five-year Family and Community Science course, BCom, BPA, BFA, five-year BA-LLB course, BEd, BCA, five-year BCA-MCA Data Science, BVoc, BA Media Studies, BA Fashion Design and Technology. Admission will be available in five-year Environmental Studies and Disaster Management courses, five-year BBA-MBA, all PG courses and PhD. Applications have started for admission to Masters in the academic session 2024-25 of Allahabad University and last date for registration is Jun.
