Super League's greatest try-scorer is glad it is over and done with. Ryan Hall wakes up today as the new leader of the competition's all-time charts, but the Hull KR man is hoping it will stop people talking to him about it. The Robins winger scored tries 247 and 248 during the victory over Huddersfield Giants, which finally put him above his former Leeds teammate, Danny McGuire, at the top of the scoring charts.
Hall has insisted the record is not important to him, though there were clear signs of relief on his face after drawing level and then beating the number set by McGuire. It's unlikely that Hall will hear the end of it any time soon. However, he's grateful that he will ignore the constant reminders moving forward after admitting that having the record loom over him has been having an impact on him.

"Sky got in touch the week before the Warrington game on the Wednesday asking what sort of videos I wanted playing when I scored. I don't go out thinking I'm going to score this week; it's about doing things for the team, and if opportunities arise, I'll do my best to score.
It set me back a bit and took me a while to get back right. We got it done tonight, finally." Hall was visibly moved by the reaction he received from the Hull KR supporters.
Thousands waited until after he had performed his media duties to give him an ovation.
