Rihanna took an $85,000 hit on the Los Angeles penthouse she listed for nearly $25 million two months ago. The 36-year-old pop star paid $21 million for the residence in March 2023 and sold it to an unnamed buyer for just under $20.8 million, according to the Robb Report.

Rihanna purchased the 9,300-square-foot penthouse from Nick Molnar, co-founder of the tech company Afterpay Ltd., who originally wanted $28 million. Molnar bought the unit from the late "Friends" actor Matthew Perry , who paid $20 million in 2017 and conducted extensive renovations.
