This week starts with Revolutionary War battles and ends with the new Beach Front Arts Fest. In between, we celebrate Hot Dog Day: Sunday, July 14 The British are coming! An American Revolutionary War re-enactment hosted by the North West Territory Alliance continues today in Simmons Island Park. “Rebels and Redcoats” features battles, military band concerts, tomahawk throwing and even a fashion show.

The event is free and open to the public. 10 a.m.
