Ivy Ong-Wood You might need sunglasses if you're planning to visit Swarovski's Masters of Light traveling exhibition. Open to the public at Milan's Palazzo Citterio until July 14, the exhibition, envisioned by Swarovski creative director Giovanna Engelbert and curated by British fashion journalist and critic Alexander Fury, celebrates almost 130 years of the Austrian house's influence across the worlds of fashion, jewelry and pop culture. Inside the salons of the newly-renovated extension of Pinacoteca di Brera are over 50 crystal-embellished fashion pieces from international brands including Balenciaga, Dior, Gucci, Schiaparelli, Versace and Armani as well as red-carpet looks worn by Harry Styles, Doja Cat, Katy Perry and Beyonce.

Also on display are historical couture pieces including a 1895 gown by the House of Worth, outfits worn by pop stars, stage costumes from the Swarovski Heritage, thousands of shining jewelry pieces, figurines, and crystals, plus fine jewelry made with Swarovski Created Diamonds. Visitors can also check out a pop-up store stocked with exclusive products and a Garden Cafe in the orangery with a menu by Milanese chef Carlo Cracco.
