HINDSALE, N.H. — The Hinsdale School District has hired Anna Roth as the next principal of Hinsdale Middle High School.

Roth, the current principal at Twin Valley Middle High School in Whitingham, Vt., will replace current HMHS principal John Barth who announced that he is leaving at the end of this school year. Roth assumes the post on July 1.



“I am very excited to begin working with our students, staff members, and families in Hinsdale to help students reach their full potential,” stated Roth in a news release from the school district. “The interview process really helped me get to know the school community’s focus and aspirations, and my experience leading a small, rural middle high school in Vermont just perfectly fit the description of what they are looking for. It is an exciting time in Hinsdale and I am looking forward to contributing as a leadership team member.

” Roth has been serving in the Twin Valley Unified Union School District since 2013 when she was hired as a special educator at the elementary school before moving to the middle high school in the same capacity. In the fall of 2019, Roth was named dean of student support systems before being tapped mid-year to move into the principal role where she has remained since. "I am truly honored to have had the opportunity to lead this community and to serve the amazing Wildcat students that have been, or still are, students here," Roth wrote in a letter to the Twin Valley school community this week.
