The O2 Academy in Islington has been announced as the host of the official after-party of this year's Pride In London celebrations. Each year, over a million people take to the streets of the capital for one of Europe's largest and most fabulous LGBTQ+ event - which has been at the forefront of activism since its first march in 1971. Pride means big business for London's LGBTQ+ scene, with bars in Soho , Clapham and Vauxhall packed day and night with revellers.

But no LGBTQ+ festival would be complete without an official after-party celebration - which organisers have revealed will be held at the O2 Islington on Saturday, June 29, from 9pm until late. A Pride in London spokesperson said: "The official Pride in London after party, supported by Deliveroo, is happening on Saturday, 29th of June at the O2 Academy Islington. From 9pm - late, you’ll be able to dance the night away to the sounds of Dj Kaspa, Che Kimbe, Unorthodox and Joel Mignott.
