The classic little black dress transcends time, space, occasion. But for date night with Justin Bieber, chose a trend-led LBD. On Wednesday night the couple, fresh off the back of their trip to New York for Hailey’s Rhode pop-up – hit Funke, their favourite Los Angeles spot.
As soon as the two emerged from their Tesla Cybertruck, it was clear they were each going for drastically different vibes – as per their fashion MO. Justin wore a typical outfit: a pale blue short-sleeved button-up with billowing black jeans that pooled around his black leather shoes. Summer heat be damned, the singer added a grey beanie to his look, and, for a pop of colour, green-rimmed sunglasses.
Hailey, meanwhile, turned to Après Studio for her date-night fit. Her LBD featured a ruched, short-sleeved bodice (perfect for a summer pregnancy) and a trendy . While the silhouette may be especially in style at the moment, she leaned into the dress’s timelessness with classic black leather loafers.
Unable to commit to one pair of sunglasses, she emerged from the car in a pair of thin, ’90s-inflected shades, switching them out for a more contemporary black rectangular pair later on. The only pop of colour in her outfit came from the printed scarves tied around her black leather Miu Miu bag..
