PENNEYS has launched the new Disney collection to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the classic movie. The fashion giants announced the new Disney collection that's now available to purchase in stores nationwide. They launched a new campaign with the new collection to encourage people to pass down clothing and love it for longer, helping to prevent waste.

Today, Penneys announced they have teamed up with Disney to launch a new collection of clothing and accessories to celebrate 30 years of The Lion King. It is the first time for retailers to collaborate with Disney's The Lion King, and their new collection is made using recycled or more sustainably sourced materials. The products are designed to be removed or recycled into new fibres or products, making them easier to pass on or recycle to prevent post-consumer textile waste .



The details of the materials used to make each product will be displayed on the product swing-tag in stores. As part of the launch of the new collection, the new campaign tells the story of The Lion King-themed onesie being passed down, which encourages people to love and wear their clothing for a long time. The new range features much-loved characters from the movie, including Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumbaa and the whole gang in womenswear, kidswear and accessories.

There are hoodies, tracksuits, t-shirts and pyjama sets featuring the much-loved characters at excellent value - ranging from €5 to €20. And they also launched the new 'Love it for Longer' .
