m. on the second floor of a pastry shop. The fire was raised to third alarm seven minutes later after it spread to two adjacent establishments selling assorted products, clothing, and cellphone accessories.
Masip said the storage room of one of the establishments, a fashion shop on the third floor of the building, was also damaged in the fire. Employees of these establishments and some of their customers were able to get out of the building before the fire grew. Damage to property was estimated at P8 million.
No injuries were reported. Fire out was declared at 10:48 a.m.
Cause of the fire is yet to be determined..
