Who else is there but Dior to so seamlessly combine the real-life mavens of the Monegasque throne and the bona fide style sovereigns of the world on the coveted front row of ? Today, in the gardens of the Musee Rodin, the likes of Beatrice Borromeo (the beautiful wife of Pierre Casiraghi), and Alessandra de Osma (the stunning spouse of Prince Christian of Hanover), took their pews alongside pop princess Jennifer Lopez, tennis titan Venus Williams, and King Charles’s coronation star Pretty Yende, proving the French heritage house’s prowess as the ultimate arbiter of chic yet again. Fresh from the recent Cruise show hosted in the historic gardens of ’s Drummond Castle (which saw a coterie of aristocratic It-girls from Lady Jean Campbell to Lady Lola Bute take to the Gask Ridge earlier this month), Dior returned to the Parisian birthplace of the house for a masterclass in haute couture for the Winter ‘24 season. As always, the walls of the glamazon-filled showspace acted as a Tate-worthy backdrop to the catwalk, and a soupçon of fashion-foreshadowing of what was yet to come.

Huge, towering mosaic murals splashed from floor to ceiling were dreamed up by artist Faith Ringgold following two years of conversation with Creative Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri. Sadly Ringgold passed away just months ago, but reproductions of her graphically gorgeous and much-celebrated depictions of female athletes were brought to life by the artisans of ’s Chanakya ateliers and School of Cr.
