Ballymoney vet David McKeown received an OBE, while Portstewart man Robert Wilson was awarded an MBE for services to education. Speaking this week Mr McKeown said he has been fortunate to have enjoyed a varied career as a vet, starting off practising in Dervock near Ballymoney, Co. Antrim before changing direction 25 years ago to a career in professional indemnity insurance.
