THEY'VE been reviving 90s fashions in the hope of a style comeback. And the latest outfit to return to the shelves in Primark is a bandeau maxi dress that wouldn't look out of place in a club back in 1999. The store in east London took to TikTok to share a look at the bodycon number, which comes in both black and red.
"New dresses!" they captioned the video. The clip showed the slinky dress in black first, and then in red, with both looking equally stylish. They also added hashtags including #summervibes, predicting the dress will be a hit in the warmer weather.
One person in the comments section asked how much the dress was too, to which the store replied that it's just £10. "TEN QUID?" someone else replied. "We are SPRINTING!" another said.
"I need that red one," a third commented. "Night out's sorted!" someone else gushed. "They actually nice!" another agreed.
Others were divided as to whether or not they should get the black or the red. "Omg I need red!" one insisted. As another said: "Got the black one today!" "In love!! a third gushed.
"Kinda like it for £10," someone else said. While another sighed: "I want so bad I just don’t have the body for it lol!" In the product description on the Primark website, they shared the different ways the dresses can be worn. "Style it with delicate jewellery and strappy heels for a sophisticated evening ensemble," they began.
"Layer it with a cozy cardigan and ankle boots for a chic daytime look, or even dress it down with trainers.
