Wednesday, July 3, 2024 IndiGo , India’s airline of choice, has announced the launch of a new direct flight path from Mumbai to Vijayawada. Scheduled to begin on August 16, these daily flights will enhance connectivity between Mumbai, the bustling financial hub of Maharashtra, and Vijayawada, a major commercial center in Andhra Pradesh. With the addition of this route, IndiGo will operate 130 weekly flights from Vijayawada to eight other cities across India.
This new service will act as a vital link for Western India to Vijayawada, a rapidly expanding metro area, and also provide Vijayawada’s travelers easier access to international flights via Mumbai.
