Unsurprisingly for a team that lost the Super Bowl in heartbreaking fashion and has, in the minds of most, the best roster in the NFL, the San Francisco 49ers are going to spend much of 2024 under the national spotlight. The 49ers have six primetime games in the regular season, but they will be on the national stage well before their Monday Night Football opener against the New York Jets. The NFL announced on Tuesday that the 49ers' preseason finale against the Las Vegas Raiders will be carried nationally by NFL Network.
The preseason opener and the finale will both be broadcast locally by KPIX. San Francisco's second preseason game against the New Orleans Saints had already been confirmed as a national broadcast for Fox, taking the tally of 49ers games across the exhibition schedule and regular season to eight. Here is the 49ers' full preseason schedule: Week 1 - at Titans (KPIX) Week 2 - vs.
Saints (Fox) Week 3 - at Raiders (KPIX, NFLN) Last season, quarterback Brock Purdy did not play in the preseason opener but then played in each of the Niners' final two exhibition games.
