FIRST Take host Molly Qerim is loving the first tastes of summer. The sportscaster looked blissful as she soaked up the rays while leaving ESPN's Seaport studios in New York City on Wednesday afternoon. Qerim , 40, is known for her exquisite fashion sense .
And her latest fit didn't disappoint. The ESPN host sported a striped blazer with flowery accents over a light top and matching shorts after fronting First Take on Thursday. Molly completed the ensemble with silver high heels and a pair of shades.
And the light green beverage in her hand only added to the summer feel. Qerim has been trying to make the most of New York City's sunny weather over the past week. "I was trying to decide, should I go to the beach after the show?" she said during one of last week's shows with the temperatures expected to reach the 80s later in the day.
"Maybe go for a little stroll, play a little tennis? Maybe play some golf?" In response, Stephen A. Smith – who dialed in from Miami , Florida – scoffed at the quality of the beaches on New York City's East River. "Is that what it is?" Stephen A.
asked sarcastically. But Qerim and NBA analyst Jay Williams, who joined the First Take host in the studio that day, came to the Big Apple's defense. "We're okay!" Williams said.
Smith and J-Will then started arguing over the quality of water in Florida and the Hamptons, prompting Molly to intervene. "Hey, you just watch out for the iguanas, okay sweet cheeks?" she said to end the conversation and move .
