Mike Perry punched and dropped Jake Paul's mascot during a chaotic open workout. The pair were showing off their boxing skills in the ring just days away from their showdown this Saturday at the Amalie Arena, Florida. Perry took to the ring and it seemed inevitable that the brash and entertaining 'Platinum' would pull out some antics during fight week.
His rival Paul had placed a mascot in the corner of the ring, dressed in a huge foam suit as the shape of one of his new deodorant bottles 'W'. Paul's mascot tried heckling the former UFC fighter from the side as he prepared to get going but it didn't well. He jokingly put his hands up as if to square up to Perry, but the debutant pounced pushing him over before landing a crunching body shot.
The mascot dropped to the canvas face first before Perry dived on him, and began pounding him with some vicious blows. Perry was dragged off of the mascot, who had crumbled to the floor helplessly, and shoved into the corner. He continued to shout at the mascot, who climbed gingerly to his feet, before being protected by an entering sea of security.
Tensions were finally cooled down by the officials who entered the ring, and the mascot was bundled out underneath the ropes. It wasn't the only antics that Perry pulled during his open workout, as he wore a custom-necklace while in the ring. The garment was made in the shape of his rival's face, which looked battered and bruised as if a warning to the outcome of the showdown.
Paul then complet.
