However, the gift had little effect on the sales of her fashion line, according to to biographer Tom Bower. The designer items were given to the Duke of Sussex when she was still a senior member of the Royal Family.

The Beckhams have been known to be friendly with Prince Harry and the other royals. Yet in recent years, their rapport with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appears to have become somewhat frosty. Royal biographer, Tom Bower, spoke about this in his new book House of Beckham as he outlined an exchange between Victoria and Meghan, reports the Express .



He wrote: "Victoria agreed to provide a coat, dress, boots and a handbag worth £6,000 to Meghan for the Royal Family's traditional Christmas Day parade in Sandringham." "Later, Meghan wore a Beckham custom-made pregnancy outfit and a white coat and dress for a service in Westminster Abbey." Despite this, he highlighted that these endorsements didn't result in significant exposure for Victoria's brand.
