com On Thursday evening, Meghan Markle stepped out for the 2024 Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards (ESPYs) with Prince Harry, who was honored as the recipient of the Pat Tillman Award for Service. The event at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre saw the couple dressed in sleek formal looks, with the Duke of Sussex opting for a classic black suit with a white button-up, and the Duchess of Sussex going for a white halter neck dress. At first glance, the dress may look just like the one she wore to her royal wedding reception in 2018.

After wearing a bespoke Givenchy gown by Clare Waight Keller for the ceremony, Meghan had slipped into a custom Stella McCartney dress—a “lily white” creation with a high halter neck and a sweeping train. However, last night’s dress— another custom look, but this time by Oscar de la Renta—came with a cowl neck and slightly off-white hue, making for a relaxed alternative to her gown from the special occasion. Meghan’s glam, too, was not very different from the day of her reception, as the duchess wore her hair pinned back with a middle part for both events.
