Megan Thee Stallion took her style to the next level at the 2024 BET Awards, held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on June 30. Nominated for four awards this year, the 29-year-old rapper opened the show with a spectacular entrance, emerging from a cracked snake egg before performing a medley of her hits. The "Savage" artist donned a metallic green and gold latex thong bodysuit, complete with a bustier bra and calf-high vinyl boots, as she kicked off her performance with "Hiss.

" Inviting the audience to "turn up with the 'hot girls,'" Megan was joined on stage by dozens of backup dancers in matching outfits. She then transitioned into "Boa," another track from her recently released album, MEGAN. Megan is up for best collaboration and video of the year for "Bongos" with Cardi B, best female hip-hop artist, and BET Her for "Hiss.



" She has been nominated for a total of 13 BET Awards in her career, winning six. Her first win was in 2020 for best female hip-hop artist. This year, she was also slated to open the night with her performance, setting the stage for an exciting evening.

Despite the night's results, Megan Thee Stallion has plenty to celebrate. She is currently in the midst of her Hot Girl Summer Tour, wrapping up the North American leg before heading to the U.K.

and Europe. Her latest album, Megan, was released on June 28. In a May interview with L'Officiel, the "WAP" artist mentioned she was "tapping into other sounds" for this album, her first since 2022.
