A man was stabbed by a group of people believed to be wielding a machete in broad daylight in New York 's Times Square on Thursday afternoon. The incident took place outside of a McDonald's restaurant on West 45th Street and Broadway on 1:00pm Thursday. The unidentified victim was stabbed in both legs and was rushed to Belluve Hospital, and is said to be in stable condition, according to the NYPD.

One of the suspects was reportedly wearing blue jeans, a black shirt and carrying a backpack, according to the New York Post. A second suspect was wearing a black Wu Tang Clan logo hoodie, while a third was wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans, the newspaper reported.
All three suspects have not been identified pending an ongoing investigation, police said. The alleged stabbing was reportedly caused by a turf dispute between street vendors, law enforcement sources told ABC7 New York . Earlier this month, surveillance footage caught a 36-year-old woman from Pennsylvania stabbed in broad daylight near Times Square in what was described as an unprovoked attack.
The woman was stabbed in the chest by a stranger sitting outside of a deli at West 43rd Street and Ei.
