Article content Frosted eyeshadow was all the rage back in the ’90s and early 2000s. And, based on what we saw at the 2024 Met Gala, this trend is back in a big way this summer. There are so many ways you can incorporate this silver trend into your daily makeup routine — from adding shimmer to the inner corners of the eyes, to a full wash of silver eyeshadow on the entire eyelid.
I personally love a transparent application, and here’s how I did it using a mix of high/low favourites. I started by applying an eyeshadow wash on my eyelids using . It’s a lovely silver/beige pearlescent shadow that reflects pink, green and pearl.
I then applied onto the eye lid and blended in on with my finger. This multi-dimensional and buildable mouse eyeshadow is loaded with shimmer and shifts colour in the light. It offers a beautiful transparent effect.
