Darts sensation Luke Littler has begun promoting a clothes brand on his social media – and he hit the bullseye if he wanted to keep it low key. The 17-year-old did little to pose or show off his clobber. In fact, he is looking down at his phone in the image.
Luke, who is working with Boohoo and included the fashion brand’s social media tags in his latest post on Instagram , is stood next to a suitcase as he headed to a darts tournament in London. Luke, who is from Warrington in Cheshire, wrote: “Wait is over, next stop London @boohoomanofficial.” The photo is different from the type of image usually shared by those who have teamed up with the fashion brand, such as TOWIE star Amber Turner.
In February the Mirror told how Luke had earned himself a lucrative sponsorship after it was confirmed he had joined forces with fashion retailer boohooMAN, which is owned by Boohoo. Luke has continued to take the world of darts by storm since his sudden rise to fame at the PDC world championship in January when he reached the final aged 16. He pocketed £200,000 from his staggering purple patch at Ally Pally and is now busy playing week-in, week-out in the Premier League .
His staggering rise has thrust him into the spotlight and he is still trying to adapt to his new-found fame. Littler now boasts 1.3 followers on Instagram as well as 196,000 followers on Twitter .
Not all of those followers are there to share in his success – some are keen to take the mickey out of his team, Ma.
