London Stock Exchange chief executive Julia Hoggett and fashion designer Anya Hindmarch have been made dames while HSBC chairman Mark Tucker was knighted. Energy bosses Greg Jackson of Octopus Energy and Alistair Phillips-Davies of SSE have been made Commanders of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to the industry.
Also handed CBEs were John Burns, founder of property group Derwent London, Taylor Wimpey chief Jennie Daly, former Unilever boss Alan Jope and venture capitalist Jon Moulton. Hoggett took over at the LSE three years ago, becoming the first lesbian boss of the exchange.
