Los Angeles-based luxury brand Amiri has opened its latest retail location at South Coast Plaza in Orange County. Joining the brand’s Rodeo Drive flagship store, the new Costa Mesa location is Amiri’s second California retail shop. The 3,000-square-foot store was conceived through a collaboration with the brand’s creative director Mike Amiri and the architectural design firm Two One Two Design.

The brand described the space as “an evolution of the Amiri retail concept first introduced at Amiri Rodeo Drive, uniting different creative disciplines within a single environment.” The store is framed with an iceberg-blue marble facade, an ode to the brand’s “distinct Californian sensibility,” while also featuring natural tones and white oak furniture throughout. Amiri rounds out the store’s fresh appearance with colorful onyx accents and a variety of textures including velvet and mohair.

Amiri also designs its stores to serve as an “open gallery” to showcase art and artists, according to a release. The store features objects hand selected by Mike Amiri, alongside Detroit-based artist Jason Revok’s ongoing series and a custom, handcrafted wood wall piece by contemporary artist Oksana Schön. Amiri made headlines earlier in the year for designing ‘s Super Bowl .
