Patna: Patna Khadi Mall is gearing up to transform into a one-stop shopping destination for those interested in purchasing items related to the auspicious month of Shrawan. Sumeet Kumar , a storekeeper at the mall, said the plan was to cater to a diverse customer base, including men, women and people from various economic backgrounds. “We aim to attract maximum footfalls during the upcoming Shrawan month by offering a wide array of designs and the latest fashion, particularly in our clothing section,” he said.

“Our focus lies primarily on the attire section during Shrawan, ensuring a comprehensive collection that includes clothes, footwear, bangles, and puja materials,” he said. Sumeet elaborated on their offerings, particularly the extensive selection of saris in various shades of green, favoured by many women during this period. “Our collection also includes beautifully crafted lac bangles (lahthis) from Muzaffarpur,” he said.



Speaking on fabric and pricing, Sumeet detailed the range available, from cotton saris priced between Rs 600 to Rs 5,000, to silk saris ranging from Rs 3,000 to Rs 20,000. “Our silk varieties include Bhagalpuri, raw silk, tussar, tussar katiya, and mulberry silk saris,” he said. For men, the mall offers comfortable round-necked T-shirts suitable for ‘kanwariyas’ visiting Vaidyanath Dham, priced between Rs 250 and Rs 300.
