John McEnroe couldn't resist ribbing pundit Nick Kyrgios about his casual Wimbledon attire , despite showing up in laid-back gear himself for the Sunday final. The banter was on full display before Novak Djokovic's fourth-round match against Holger Rune on Monday (July 8), with Kyrgios playfully chiding the American legend for his tardiness, quipping, "Everybody thinks that Nick Kyrgios would have been late but it was the big fella here. Where have you been?".

Upon McEnroe's arrival alongside Clare Balding, Kyrgios didn't miss a beat: "Where have you been? " he asked, to which McEnroe retorted with his trademark wit, "I'm not late, I was right there," gesturing towards a spectator box. McEnroe then turned the tables, teasing Kyrgios about his fashion choicea long black coat and cap amid the British summermocking, "You're so dressed up. Give me a break he's cold come on.



When are you going to step up and get dressed up? You're a good looking guy." Kyrgios, taking the jest in stride, responded, "Thank you, I don't get many compliments," prompting McEnroe to press further, "You are. When are you going to dress up and wear a suit?"
