The Indiana Fever entered Friday night’s game against the Atlanta Dream on a three-game winning streak. They were able to keep that streak alive in front of a record crowd that wanted to watch Caitlin Clark play. The Dream, who normally play at a 3,500-capacity arena in College Park, Georgia, moved their game against the Indiana Fever to State Farm Arena, where the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks play.

It was the smart decision, as the arena was packed with fans wanting to see the Iowa star. They were treated to a show, unless they were Dream fans, as the Indiana Fever won in blowout fashion, 91-79. Caitlin Clark scored 16 points in the game, going 4-of-8 from 3-point range, with seven assists and four rebounds.



The massive crowd isn’t anything that phased her, as she is used to big turnarounds from her time at Iowa. In the WNBA, crowds of this size are very rare but are becoming more common whenever Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever hit the road. “These type of environments for me, it’s not that different [than college],” Clark said Friday.
