HUNDREDS of people have died in the last two years while awaiting decisions on disability payments from the SNP Government's new welfare agency, we can reveal. Official stats published by Social Security Scotland show that 225 people passed away while waiting for their applications for the Adult Disability Payment to be processed. 2 Labour's Paul O'Kane has urged SNP ministers to explain why Scots face long waits.
