Credit: Zenpix Jimmi was confronted last Wednesday in B&Q’s warehouse at Cheetham Hill in Manchester. A source said: “He was taken to the back room and held there for ten-15 minutes. “The cameras were watching him the whole time and the staff weren’t bothered about who he was.
“He was treated just like everyone else.” Police were not called but staff say bosses handed the actor a letter banning him from the store. Jimmi, who has played Dev since 1999, denied wrongdoing.
He claimed: “This was a misunderstanding over a sample pot of paint bought from elsewhere.” It is understood he is considering an appeal.
