How much are my 1990s Beanie Babies worth - and are there any rare ones should I look out for? DAN HATFIELD replies By Dan Hatfield, This is Money Updated: 02:00 EDT, 7 June 2024 e-mail View comments I have a collection of Beanie Babies that have been passed down to me. The TY bears date from 1993-2000, all have original tags with the majority boxed. The most interesting, I think, are ones from 1993 with info saying Oakbrook, USA.
They do not say PE pellets on the label. All the others say PE pellets. Scott, via email.
Cash cow? Our resident valuation expert Dan Hatfield reveals all on the Beanie Baby Bubble Dan Hatfield, replies: For almost 25 years I've been valuing everything from Royal memorabilia, ornate jewellery, and some of the world's finest art so you may be surprised to learn the most frequent item I get enquiries about, is the famous little stuffed bear in the form of a Beanie Baby. You wouldn't believe the number of calls and emails I receive about people's beloved toys hopeful they could be a rare one worth thousands of pounds – a bat, a camel, a psychedelic bear, honestly, I've heard it all. And you can't blame people for getting excited, you only need to Google the brand to see headline grabbing information about bears that have sold for eye watering amounts of cash.
