An unsettling discovery was made during a home renovation in north Wales, as the previous owner had hidden what appeared to be a voodoo doll behind an antique radiator. The effigy, littered with pins, a screw and a threaded needle, was wrapped in a plaster that bore the name of a woman, presumably aimed to bear the blunt of its magic. Despite being dismissed as "hocus pocus" by some when its creepy image was posted online, others found it "freaky" and "super weird", even providing advice on how to get rid of it without triggering negative magic.
"Not a very nice thing to find," one person shivered. A local lady, refusing to disclose her identity, revealed that this enigmatic doll was discovered in a property in Llanfairfechan in Conwy . She said that "Estelle" was the name written on the poppet, but decided to keep quiet about any further details.
The hunt for information regarding the residence and its past occupants is still ongoing without any significant leads. Upon encountering the chilling idol, the woman expressed both fear and interest, telling North Wales Live , "It was quite scary and fascinating at the same time. I'd love to find out more.
