From dry syrahs to supple malbecs and delicate pinot noirs, Argentina is synonymous with wine. This is the land of expansive vineyards, after all. But just because you don’t live in the mountains of Mendoza doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the very best bottles that the country has to offer.

Porteños love wine, and they seldom need an excuse to pour a glass — especially at one of the craft events for which Buenos Aires is famous. The city’s ubiquitous wine bars allow you to sample different glasses from regions across the country. And if you’re not into reds, there are plenty of establishments with Torrontes, a delectable white, on offer.

The bar offers more than 700 vintages, and the restaurant has its own sommelier, so you’re sure to find the bottle that’s right for you. The wine rack walls and wood-theme decor mimic the wine tasting experience in Mendoza, and the Italo-Argentine cuisine is no less impressive. If you’re especially taken with a bottle, you can order it on the restaurant’s website, where you can participate in a wine club and further expand your wine horizons.
