Three-day fashion fiesta, Delhi Times Fashion Week (DTFW), presented by KRasa Group and powered by Prius Communications, concluded on Friday with a packed day of glam showcases. The event at The Grand, Vasant Kunj, brought together the best and budding names from the fashion fraternity to the forefront and was a visual treat for guests. The designer showcased pleated lehengas, shararas, draped saris with mirrorwork, gota patti work, and chikankari. She said, “The collection was an ode to Indian weaves. We used fabrics from across the country, there was jamdani and Banarasi.
” Silky Nanda powered by Dhawan Jewellers Silky Nanda presented a show featuring some glamorous evening dresses with intricate embroidery. The inspiration for the collection was stars and the galaxy. “My vision was to bring the universe to the ramp.
There were a lot of colours & vibrancy that I wanted to bring to my show,” said Silky. While Shefali Bagga opened the show, Urvashi Rautela closed the show as showstopper. Susan Mantosh Susan Mantosh presented a collection that was all unconventional cuts and kantha stitch.
She shared, “I wanted to showcase the versatility of the kantha. I’ve created different silhouettes to present a fusion of traditional art and contemporary designs.” Harsimran Sarai The wedding wear collection by Harsimran Sarai was all about exquisite gold embroidery.
