By RONALD CHAWE – GOVERNMENT has asked football fans to trust Zambia coach Avram Grant over his team selection for the forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Morocco and Tanzania. Sports Permanent Secretary Kangwa Chileshe in an interview yesterday said fans should appreciate the role the coach and his technical bench would play in the crunch qualifiers and their choice of players for the battle. This is in light of complaints from some fans over Grant’s announced team which did not have room for some key players like Saudi Arabia-based Fashion Sakala, Rally Bwalya and Clatous Chama.
