Login Just a week after France introduced a program to tax fast fashion at $16 per garment, a voluntary scheme that will introduce a 4¢ levy on every imported piece of clothing was launched on Tuesday by Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek, who warned that if more progress was not made by the fashion industry, she would be forced to legislate.
