Tiffany Oshinsky has done a lot of things in the field of sports journalism and entertainment and has worked on some of the most prominent platforms in the industry. And she has done it well, as numerous accolades and awards attest. A 2004 Emmaus High graduate who was then known Tiffany Orbin, Oshinsky shined in volleyball.
She was an all-league, all-area and an all-state selection and a Division I recruit who was initially headed to Penn State before her career path took her to NYU for film school. “I decided to go for the career instead of athletics,” she said. “So I kind of gave up volleyball and just played for fun at NYU.
” She got into sports media and interned at ESPN, HBO Sports and NFL Films. After graduating from NYU in 2008, she began working full-time at MLB Production before returning to NFL Films. “I was there at NFL Films as a producer and did things like ‘Hard Knocks’ and the Joe Namath documentary, which won an Emmy for best documentary, and I worked on a ton of highlight films and documentaries and whatever else they needed,” she said.
She began working at Sports Illustrated in 2014, on camera and behind the scenes as a producer. She created her own show called “Extra Mustard Minute” for SI. She kept writing and working, all connected with sports, and got into podcasting for Wondery with a show called “The Lead.
