The 26-year-old right-hander went 5-1 in six starts last month and leads the league in wins. Capuano surrendered 26 hits over 32.2 innings, posting a 2.



48 ERA. He racked up 38 strikeouts, which was third-best on the circuit. He is also third in the league in ERA.

The FDU-Florham alum is a Vernon, NJ native who has been a key cog in leading the FerryHawks to a 20-15 record and second place in the North division. “Cap has done an outstanding job at attacking hitters and being able to create swing-and-miss and his numbers have shown that,” pointed out FerryHawks pitching coach and former New York Yankees reliever Johnny Barbato. “His success has also been a huge reason our team is in the situation it’s in, fighting for a spot at the top of our division,” he added.
