Chennai: Urbaser Sumeet , Greater Chennai Corporation’s garbage collection contractor, will conduct a fashion event to promote solid waste management . The event will be held at Express Avenue at 5pm on July 13. Titled ‘The Shine Beyond Streets’, the show seeks to champion the concept of ‘reduce, re-use, recycle (3Rs) by celebrating sustainability and highlighting how style can contribute to reduce waste and extending the life of apparel.
“This event is not just about fashion; it is also a tribute to the relentless efforts of our conservancy staff who keep our entire city clean,” Urbaser Sumeet said in a statement. tnn.
