The family of Kenneth S. Davidson, the 32-year-old shot and killed last month near the intersection of 36th Avenue and 48th Street, continue to anxiously await answers as they mourn his death. Kenneth Davidson was fatally shot at about 9:20 p.
m. on June 14 outside his mother’s home after receiving a phone call. An investigation is ongoing, but no suspects are known to be in custody, and law enforcement could not be reached for additional updates.
His funeral was held Friday and family members spoke to the Kenosha News during a fundraising event at The Vault in Kenosha Saturday morning. Kayla Davidson, Kenneth Davidson’s sister, and Yolanda McKenzie, his mother, said the family has struggled emotionally since he was fatally shot on June 14. While the investigation is ongoing, they expressed frustration with a lack of updates from authorities on what would have been Kenneth’s birthday on Saturday.
