FANS have slammed Nike for their "terrible" design of the Croatia kit. Zlato Dalic's side opened up their Euro 2024 campaign in abysmal fashion and trailed Spain 3-0 at half-time . The team also drew negative attention for their kits, which have attracted a lot of praise in the past.
Fans feel Nike have messed up with the design they used, moving away from their traditionally small red and white chequered tops. Instead, the shirt consists of six squares on the front - three red and three white. While the back is mostly white only, with a couple of small red squares at the bottom.
Supporters do not like the design one bit, with one saying: "This Croatia kit is terrible, deservedly losing for what they've done to a classic." Another added: "How do you mess up a Croatia kit so badly?" A third wrote: "Croatia's kit peaked in 1996. The 1998 one gets all the credit after their brilliant run to third place in the World Cup, but the one from Euro 1996 was even nicer.
The current effort is an absolute monstrosity." And another commented: "I just noticed the little collar on the already mishandled Croatia kit. Nike will pay for their crimes.
