FC legend may have completed his own downfall after failing to attend the press confernce in his native Ireland that would kick off the road to UFC 303. In that fight at the end of June, Conor McGregor is supposed to make his wildly expected return to the octagon. His opponent is supposed to be Michael Chandler but missing this press conference may have placed tht in real jeopardy.

People have been trolling Conor McGregor for years due to his apparent lack of discipline or commitment to the sport. A recent detail on ESPN's pay-per-view events might be the clue that suggests the network might not be willing to keep betting on the Irishman. UFC 303 is no longer promoted by ESPN Pending confirmation that this wasn't a mistake, ESPN just retired the UFC 303 ammouncement as part of their pay-per-view events.



The man himself was the one who made the announcement first while citing a series of obstacles that didn't allow him to attend. After that tremendous mistake, ESPN doesn't play around and they apparently are distancing themselves from McGregor. But why is this happening now?
