'Memories in Motion', the end of year show for the creative industries department brings together the work of students in graphic design, photography, fine art, illustration, 3-D design, printmaking, fashion and textiles, media make-up, media, performing arts, and more. The theme of this year's popular end of year show, Memories in Motion, centres around precious memories from the lives of the students, displaying them in ways relating to their course as if watching their lives in movie motion. The showcase represents the students’ hard work and vision over the last year and for some, the last opportunity to display their work before going off into employment or higher education.
Last week's event was also an opportunity to recognise the students' successes throughout the year with the presentation of a range of awards. Students’ achievements were rewarded in areas from attendance to attainment, and commitment to learning to student of the year. The college has congratulated all the prize winners for their successes.
Jemma Crozier, the college's head of department for art, design, style and Transitions, encouraged people to go along to the college and see the work of the talented students. She said: " As always, I eagerly look forward to the end of year show, one of the highlights of the year at Craven College. This fantastic event provides our students with the opportunity to showcase the incredible work they have been creating over the past year.
I encourage everyone to.
